Dulwich College is one of the UK's oldest independent schools, founded in South London as a boys’ school in 1619. Dulwich College International (DCI) was established to bring the Dulwich education to students around the world and is now one of the fastest growing UK independent school networks. Through DCI, Dulwich College has been in Asia for ten years, building bridges between Eastern and Western communities and delivering high academic results and a well-rounded education.
The Dulwich network currently provides for over 7,200 students in eight cities and five countries, with Colleges in London, two campuses in the Jinqiao and Minhang districts of Shanghai, in Beijing, Suzhou, Seoul, Singapore and Yangon and International High Schools in Suzhou and Zhuhai.
Dulwich College Yangon is the ninth member of the Dulwich family of schools.
Dulwich College Yangon commenced operating it's Pun Hlaing campus in August 2016, and is scheduled to open the first phase of its new purpose built campus in August 2017. Also in August 2017, Dulwich College Yangon will also open a state-of-the-art campus in the Star City residential development in Thanylin district.
The College will be co-educational and academically selective and on opening will cater for students in classes from Toddler to Middle School (aged 2 to 13). In the subsequent years the College will open additional year groups to build a Senior School with classes up to Year 13 (age 18).
The close collaboration among our Colleges stimulates innovation and encourages an international outlook, which we believe provides students an advantage in the future they will face. The result is a community where academic ability is nourished, creativity is valued, diversity is celebrated and inspiration is paramount.
