Child bonding classes at DCY
Posted 01/17/2017 04:50PM

On 17 January 2017, Dulwich College Yangon hosted the first session of a 6-week programme on parent-child attachment. The programme is run by Certified and Accredited Child Therapist, Wailee Kiu, for parents, guardians and carers.

The objective of this course is to provide parents and guardians with the confidence and skills to interact with and care for their child effectively. A skilled parent contributes to the child’s healthy growth and development, and a happier child learns better at school.

The course offers a safe and playful environment where experiential learning supports the structured lessons. It uses the latest research on early attachment, neuroscience, and child development as well as principles of Play Therapy and Filial Play.  It is conducted in English and Burmese. Please contact the front desk for more information on the course.
